These are working workbooks, not document templates: every one computes, arrives filled in with one fictional plant, and carries the method its author runs a shop with. All five are free. Each is a tab or two lifted straight from its full pack, so the formulas, color flags and worked example are the same. Start with the one your next meeting needs.
Problem statement, five whys, and cause scoring that ranks itself. Ships with the dock-2 scanner case filled in.

Same fictional plant, same example data, across the whole series. Two measures most quality systems never see are tracked everywhere: the verified-effective rate of your corrective actions, and the control level of your fixes, which predicts whether they hold.

The method behind the tools
The questions auditors ask, what a good answer contains, and the thirty-day preparation checklist. Written for the person who runs a process and is about to be interviewed about it. One copy per process owner before the transition audit. Paperback $12.99, Kindle $6.99, and the three templates free.
Templates, team copies, Amazon →Every change between the 2015 and 2026 editions, read the way an auditor reads it: what changed, what it means on the floor, what the auditor will ask, and the evidence that answers. Then the weighted gap method, the transition milestones and the plain-words change checklist. Companion to the readout and the kit.
See it on Amazon →Eighty-three pages, thirty-one short chapters: how to find what is broken, price it, fix it, and prove it held. The four pack guides in one place, plus the worked case. If the last answer in your causal chain is a person's name, you have not found a root cause.
See it on Amazon →Boeing, Kobe Steel, Dieselgate and the rest, read as a quality manager reads them: the record that was missing, the audit that never crossed the handoff, and how to catch the same failure in your own plant. Every episode ends on your floor.

Excel 2016 or later on Windows or Mac, or Google Sheets. Every formula is standard: no macros, no add-ins, no external links. In Google Sheets use File → Import → Replace spreadsheet.
Every workbook ships pre-filled with the same fictional plant so each dashboard, flag and trend has something to show. Read it that way first, then clear the yellow input cells; the white computed cells empty themselves.
They are built around the clauses a quality manager runs day to day: 9.2 internal audit, 10.2 nonconformity and corrective action, 8.4 external providers, 9.3 management review, and 6.1 risk. They reference clause numbers as pointers only and reproduce no text from the standard.
An entry worksheet is two or three tabs lifted from its pack, and it is $5 or more, your choice. The pack is the full workbook with the register, the dashboard and the field guide PDF that explains the method, for $35. Start with the worksheet; the formulas and the worked example are the same.
